Bummer, My Father had meat Carroll in the 60's. My Father told me a great story about a nice guy......My Father couldn't wait till the new Shelby would come out. We would have a new Shelby in the driveway every four to five months. Autocrossing almost every Weekend. Great Car's ...

Yeah very sad the guy was an automotive icon . Here's the write up from Speed tv's website

Love his cars. He will be missed. RIP! Heaven holds a place for him.

Always knew God was a Ford guy :~)

As the past lays another hand down on the table the chances of winning in the future get ever so more slim. Bummed

A sad day in the automotive world.

truly a standout in a world where it's hard to make your mark.

I ordered some slicks one time and they shipped from Carroll Shelby. I was honored just to buy tires from him!

Living in Vegas we were able to see alot of his work beings his shop is at the Speedway. True class act as well as the people that worked for him. Remember rolling into the Speedway and seeing literally 300 plus Mustangs lined up in the parking lot getting some Shelby love...

Hey Brian they doing anything special at the museum ? You should try to get some pics to post on here . I went last may to see it and it was awesome !
