Chevy took command in qualifying by grabbing the fron 2 rows and 10 of the Top 15 starting positions, the other 5 spots in the Top 15 went to Ford as all 3 Yates and Wood Bros #21 and 1 Toyota, Kyle Busch 15th.

Chevy: Martin Truex (Pole)
Ford: Bill Elliott (5th)
Toyota: Kyle Busch (15th)
Dodge:Reed Sorenson (28th) Even with a new nose to help downforce, Dodge was again very slow by themselves.
