I know this is way too early to mention, but I think we stand a greater chance to vote Robby into the All-Star race, if we start planning from now. LOL........ Just in case he doesn't manage to win a race before. LOL!!
There are currently 1602 members of PR. If 50% voted everyday and if they never forgot a day it would still be an uphill climb. But RG fans have been known to pull hard for their driver. Anything is possible with enough effort. I am going to do my part.
You don't even need a real e-mail address so if 10% of us vote 20 times a day we WILL get him a top 10. A top10 will = Sponsors for the man that entertains us nonstop . So spended 10-15 Min. a day voting for him is not alot to ask.
thing that always disappoints me about the chex voting is they never post how many votes the top ten get. but POS was in the top ten last lets try to knock him out at least. we got Rob second in the all star voting last year we can do this
2009 NASCAR NMPA Chex Most Popular Driver Award has a brand new voting format! Check out the rules to the exciting new Top 10 format below.
* All 44 drivers are eligible to receive votes from 2/10/2009 – 9/13/2009.

* Of these 10 drivers, the one with the most votes in the final 10 weeks of the season will win the 2009 Chex Most Popular Driver Award.
* The rest of the field will not be eligible to receive any more votes for the remainder of the season.
* All voting will end on 11/23/2009. The 2009 Chex Most Popular Driver Award winner will be revealed at the annual National Motorsports Press Associations’ Media Luncheon in New York City in December, 2009.
Got my first vote in.. looking forward to seeing if we can get RG in the top ten by the time the chase begins..
I think it would be nearly impossible to beat Junior for the overall. However, I do feel that we can get RG into the top ten. Getting Rob into the top ten would almost force the powers that be at NASCAR to take notice. We would all like better media coverage of RGM exploits both in NASCAR and in RG's off-road ventures. For God sakes they covered Jimmie's cut finger for almost two weeks, think of what they could say about the Dakar.. Getting Rob into the top ten would also be a signal to current and potential sponsors of the benefits of being a sponsor for RGM... IMO of course..
Last years top ten in alphabetical order were Dale Earnhardt Jr., Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Bobby Labonte, Tony Stewart and Michael Waltrip. I think 7 or 8 out of that top 10 are locks but there is hope.. POS is one of them. Maybe this is the year that the fans see thru his pathetic facade..

Got 3 votes in for today. I will have to add a reminder to my work calendar, so I vote first thing every morning. If I set up a Gmail account and use my husband's work email, that would be 5.
