Penske is interested in buying-out Robby and bringing him in as a fourth driver.

This has been speculated before here. First time I am aware of that it has been brought up by somebody credible in the media.

He seemed to have patched thing up with Smoke since 2000. So why not Kurt
as I remember Robby and Kurt worked together quite a bit last year when RG went to Penske motors.
I still hate Kurt.
Even if Rg does get bought out it's not like he couldnt reopen once things get better. He could start a truck or nationwde team like Harvick did and then work his way up with a new driver if he ever retires but dont think he will. RG will be like red farmer, racing in his 80's
If this turns out to be true (I won't hold my breath) Penske also could give Robby a seat for the Indy 500, which could mean a possible Indy 500 win.

I can only hope
Good Point and if they change the start time back to where it was(nmaybe they already did, i forget) Sam Hornish would run too I bet.
Given his running Primm instead of Richmond. I would bet Robby would want to run it (if affiliated with Penske) even if they did not change the time. Remember Robby's biological clock is ticking and Indy is a young mans game as Robby has said in the past.
...............I WANT TO SEE SPONSORSHIP AND RG CONTINUE ON HIS OWN..........
I think most of us here do mojo. I know I do.
I just want to see wins!
Even if Robby and RGM doesn't partner/merge/sell to Penske, I think Robby should pursue Roger as a mentor in some capacity.. could you think of someone better?
Keith do you have a link to this?
