Dakar 2014 - Robby Will Be On The Gas/Road

I asked the question Sunday at the SST Costa Mesa fairgrounds to Robby "will you be at Dakar 2014" His answer was "YES". His look was serious with his response - eye contact was made. I have been following Robby for years. Look out Dakar, he had the that liittle smirk/smile. This will make January exciting for sure.

Further, I agree with Michael, there comes a point where Robby starts missing out on the perfect opportunity (Michael's low hanging fruit) to enjoy some Robby buzz.

If Robby truly does have something amazing planned, it's about time to confirm the buzz, control the buzz, enslave the buzz.

I love the buzz The Planet has created in the vacuum. Compare this to last year. Last year was much more subdued. Recall last year "the talk" was, "Well, if the budget can swing it, Robby ~~might~~ go."

I took some pictures of the hummer before it's 2nd or 3rd Dakar effort. No one had seen the changes to the truck and the pictures were pretty far away, but the truck did have some changes. Rob Harris had me delete the photos before RG heard about them.

@Jeff, I would suggest thinking conceptual not literal.there's only so many places/ways to stick an engine/transmission in a chassis.and engine behind the rear axle center line is not the way to win WRC type stages.

Robby is pretty forth coming with info to Planet members that speak with him at these events.Several members have given me his answers to their questions

Thanks Tog for clearing the air! Robby seem pretty serious when I asked the question about Dakar. He said I would be surprised
