I was hoping you or TOG would say that as I am a Direct TV subscriber and I purposely switched over from Dish 3 years ago because I had to have Versus for Dakar and Tour De France. It was going to be a pain in the a$$ to switch over but now I don't have to do it. Thanks in advance!!!!
BTW: I read that he's taking the TT to Dakar also. I wonder who will be driving what? Any news?

TT will have to be heavily modified to dakar pass inspection. With a restrictor on, the diver ofthe that massive TT will have his hands full. RG's shops is full of surprises, they might come up with something workable.

nope 3 Hummers.. no TT. My bet is 2DAKAR was destroyed in the roll over accident and the replacement is still being finished. The TT would not fair very well in the WRC like sections anyway. I repeat 3 Hummers No Chevy CK1500. (see my previous thread on why its a CK1500 and not a Silverado!)

2 Hummers confirmed, 3rd is still up in the air. They have all the parts, just need to hear "go" and it'll be done in a matter of days.
Rob's Hummer was not destroyed, currently being put back together.

It's NOT DirecTv...... it's COMCAST, the owner of VERSUS and if it goes through, the future owner of NBC too. It's all a power play.
Several offers to continue VERSUS on DirecTv while negotiations resume were refused by COMCAST.
