Not a fan of a secondary racing series getting the recognition of the number.

"Her deal with the #7".. What do you mean by that?

Many drivers have ran the #7 in the Nationwide series dating back to Stuart Huffman in the first race of the series back in 1982.

"Her deal" is that she is currently under contract to drive that number no differently then, Mike Wallace, Harry Gant, Dale Sr, Morgan Shepard, Randy LaJoie, etc etc etc.....

509 races, 60 drivers, 29 years, and when you're in that car it's your car your number, you have 1 job to get out there and try to complete all the laps putting yourself in the position to win the race, and you deserve all the recognition in the world while doing so.

@ Josh"deal" by to the average joe they see a 7 on damn hot wheel and it looks like she "is the 7" to me it just gets me.....it sticks it to me.........it gets my goat........I hear a fellow collector stand there and say to us "Danica drives the 7, it's HER NUMBER" then I see the car he is holding and I get sick. Looks like one for the Barbecue as i'll show you soon enough. thin skin ......yes I collect hot wheels but only the ones I like. That's why I only have about 2500
And to this generation of fans in that series it is her number. in the Nationwide series She IS the #7 like it or not.

I'm more concerned as to why it has yellow beadlocks rims on low-profile tires and the old Cup COT splitter on the packaging... haha
@Michael, actually that is her #. Not the 7, but the style of it. Earnhardt strarted that with the TM'd drop shadowed 3. Robby has his 7, & thats not it. I've seen plenty of bootleg 7 swag that had the wrong 7 on it. Thats Danica's stylized 7. Same as her IRL 7. Danica has a deal with Hot Wheels, it's all good bro.
Jimmy Spencer, & Casey Atwood both drove for Jim Smith with (what is currently) Robby's stylized 7. Ya think any of their fans were a lil pissy when RG started driving the same 7? Or how bout the die-hard Petty fans who saw Adam's Sprint PCS (alternate color)paint schemes on the 7 cars starting in '05?
It's this business of racing, buddy. Enjoy a SPEED Energy, & watch Robby Gordon's #7 Dodge Charger all this week @ Daytona
Most of my pissing and moaning (none of it serious---i'm a grown man that collects hot wheels yes) came from the fact I had not seen her "2010 impala new model hot wheel" in a sneak peak.......and based solely as a hot wheel collector I was shocked when I seen it for the first time.....also a new model this year for hot wheels is a Dakar vehicle.............but it is the VW
