Q: Boris Said earlier today that he talked to you on the phone. How did that go?
RAGAN: “Boris called me last night and I don’t really have a problem with Boris as a person. I like Boris. He and I are friends. I’ve got a problem with the way he races. I think a lot of people would echo what I say. Boris, he’s just too aggressive. He doesn’t have respect with what we’re trying to do as a Chase team or for a team trying to stay in the top 35 in points or a team trying to get into the top 10. There are so many different things that everyone is racing for. He called and, obviously, says he’s sorry and apologized. Boris said that he lifted a little bit, he could have lifted more and he said he was just trying to merge back on the race track. I was clear of Boris through turn 1 but he got a little better run and when you’re talking about 6 inches or something, that’s very easy to give and take. If it would have been 40 of the other guys, maybe Boris, Robby Gordon and there might be one more that would have done the same thing. A Jeff Burton or (Jeff) Gordon or a teammate, myself, would have rolled out of the throttle and avoided a big mess.’’
Regan is a joke ... he won't be in cup much longer...
