Hearing rumblings...any truth to this...thought Monster wanted nothing to do with NASCAR?

Or was that before SPEED Energy came along...

I think Monster was smart to grab those 2 since they can get the sponsor into Victory Lane and up front every race. Results count and shrub has more trophies than most drivers in Nascar.

Peple might not like them, but they are proven winners.

Good for Monster, but it really makes no difference to me. I am just hoping my case of SPEED arrives today, I only have 3 cans left! Now that is what is important in my world!!

Me thinks a couple of things......

If you are going to sponsor a Nationwide Car, why not Kyle Busch...pretty much guaranteed of lots of exposure...can't blame Monster for their choice....

While I don't think Monster is afraid that Speed will put them out of business, big comapnies don't like smaller ones taking market share, each can of Speed sold is doing just that.......In a way this was a bit of a defensive move by Monster against Speed in my humble estimation....Monster has invested in marketing to NASCAR fans, mostly through RGM....They really can't just sit still and watch Robby pluck off their NASCAR product users one by one........

Plus as mentioned, this gets NOS out of Victory circle as well.......I guess my same argument above could be used and just insert NOS where I refered to Speed...

Good for Robby and Speed.......you know your doing a good job when you have the big boys attention.......

i think it was a great idea the worst tasting energy drink and two idiot's all with the same label on them

There seems to be some sort of hook that is embedded in me where I can't seem to escape things I don't care about. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact it's racing related........... oh now I know. Sorry I upped the post count. It is BIG news for the NAZICAR machine but of no value here. Don't get me wrong I'm not dissin' any comments it's just that we could easily be over run with "other news" if we don't watch it. That's my view and only mine I suppose the monster connection has some value as a shim.

I couldn't have said it better! who gives a sh$t!

i totally agree !!!!

Overall European sales of sports and energy drinks have continued to grow in spite of the economic recession, with consumers looking for alternative soft drinks and trying to cope with today’s fast-paced lifestyles. The UK is the number-one market for energy drinks, supported by the highest penetration rate (31%) and active new product development, while Germany leads for sports drinks.

And NASCAR popularity in Europe is on par the WNBA's popularity in the U.S.

Hansen's Natural owns the Monster brand. Coca-Cola distributes the Hansen product line. The official non-alcoholic beverage, soft drink, sport drink, and energy drink of NASCAR is:___________.

I was thinking the Dakar would be pretty good for Robby and SPEED in Europe instead of NASCAR...
