SO wait, you know they are back, but you dont know how many races they signed on for, etc?

The longer they wait to announce this, the more I fear J Beam will not be back. Hopefully they do return.

I have seen a number of people comment Beam will be back, but I have yet to see any proof or actual details on a deal...

they are back but just have not announced yet. I dont know what they are waiting for. dont fear it is done or being done as we speak...

This information came from the Insider Newsletter from Jim Beam October 2008 edition. Don't think they would be talking about next year if they weren't going to do some sponsorship.

With the 2008 NASCAR season winding down, Robby Gordon and the Jim Beam No. 7 are set to finish in the top three in restrictor plate races, and in the top 35 in owner's points. Robby and his crew are taking everything they learned about the Car of Tomorrow in 2008, and look forward to "drafting" on that knowledge into next year.

Most of the people saying Beam WILL be back seem to be the same ones that promised Monster for Sears Point. I would wager Beam is waiting on the final owner points for 2008. They're not going to endure in 2009 what they did in 2005....

Gray, I was told JB is locked in a few months back. IMO, the'll be hard pressed to find as good a pkg for their dollar, as RGM gives them. I don't know what else to tell you man. You don't seem to have anything to add, just taking away from those who do. So maybe things change, at least some of us have sought out the info others are looking for. Sorry you can't accept the nature of this sport.

to the point mike! Beam can not get any better name behind there brand for what they are paying than ROBBY! its not all about the name to beam as it is the people that have the drive etc inside! hence the stuff inside web site. here are a few off the top of my head to tell you gray whom beam has sponsered over the years...and befor they were big or already big:
