Does anyone find it funny Carl Edwards only gets probation for 3 races.... Yet Robby's incident at Montreal was far less dramatic and dangerous and he gets suspended for a race?? I don't get it... I would think Edwards wouldn't mind the suspension because AFLAC pays when you're out of work.

NASCAR is starting to feel like our government. Only cares about the big businesses and could care less about the little guy.

I'm not a fan, but I do get a kick out of the stubborn approach he has taken. As long as he doesn't alienate his team and teammates he should continue to develop....
NASACR.....They just piss me off.

After watching the interview with Edwards on Trackside, Edwards said "After nascar looked at the incednet
(atalnta crash of the 12 car) and also looked at INTENT bla, bla bla" thats about all i heard about the interview that had me going

WTF???? Nascar has said all along they can never judge intent no matter what penalty.

Nascar looked at intent then make a judgment call....Ill use the Carl Long example
OK, So why penalize carl long (remember $200,000 fine for a used engine that was worn out and CI was 358.17)
they said all along they couldnt judge his intent

SO bottom line, some VERY low budget team buyes a used engine (wornout block) and gets a 200,000 fine for a qualifying ALLSTAR RACE which he probably wasnt going to make or get paid for, and ends his nascar carrer untill he comes up with 200 grand

and a popular guy spins another goofy guy, he goes flying, endangers fans and possibly the goofy guy, and edwards gets a slap on the wrist.......................................and a 3 race fine because his INTENT want to make him fly?

BULL SHIT
They need to learn from the NHL, They suspend people for reckless acts, even superstars. How many Keselowski cars are in the Nationwide race today, between Brad and the family owned cars, looks like 4? Oh the fun they could have tormenting Carl all day. Harvick may take a swipe at him too, just for fun. There could be a race inside the race that will go on for about six more races, Nationwide and Cup. What does NASCAR do if Carl does something?
learn from the NHL? that is a terrible idea...

the NHL has the most inconsistent officiating in sports.
NASCAR has achieved their point in all of this. We're still talking about it 2 weeks later. Their home page had 3 headline featured articles about this until qualifying yesterday. News feeds keep it in the spotlight. No doubt we'll hear plenty about it during every pre-race show on every station. They couldn't have scripted it any better.
and here is the "ad" on nascar.com for the free trackpass preview @ Bristol.

Its a soap opera......................................................bjut what else am i gonna do?
i guess ill watch
