While driving back from New Jersey from my families Spring Break, and travelling down 77, I helped myself to visiting Robby Gordon Motorsports.  I pulled up giddy with excitement, and a young brunette greeted me at the door, to tell me there is no tour or viewing area, no gift shop either.   But that wouldn't stop me.  There was a hero card at the front I took, and walked out to view the shop from the outside tinted windows.  I saw that the shop was huge and busy.  Upon seeing my two boys, a shop guy gave my kids used lug nuts!  Cool, and he didn't have to do that.  Driving around to the back, I saw that ***Monster Truck???  (Currently in question)*** frame is finished with shocks on, engine was to the side.  I saw side paneling...it looks like the color will be black.  My wife and kid got to use the bathroom in there.....Dear Robby, I cant help but think my family showing up on Friday gave you the 14th place finish on Saturday.  Any thoughts?

LAST YEAR WE TRAVELED FROM BUFFALO TO THE COKE 600 OR WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE THE 24 HOURS OF CHARLOTTE 'CAUSE OF RAIN. STOPPED AT ROBBYS SHOP, A BIT OF A DIFFERENT SETUP THAN THE OTHER SHOPS WITH NO REAL VIEWING AREA. WE WERE ABLE TO WALK IN THE SIDE MAN DOOR TO THE MIDDLE OF SHOP WHERE THE DIFFERENTAL BENCH IS . THEY HAD HIS WATKINS GLENN CARS RIGHT THERE , HIS DAKAR SUPPLY TRUCKS WERE THERE ALSO. LOT OF ACTION WAS GOING ON. TOOK 45 SECONDS OF FILM. MAYBE AS TIME GOES ON THEY WILL SET UP A LITTLE BETTER.
Could have been a T-4?
i stopped by the shop after the fall martinsville race, and was lucky enough to have robby himself let us in the side door. he had the crandon truck in a viewing area, as well as a number of #7's,the hummer was outside and pulling the dakar support vehicle out.

and a harrahs car :)
He still has some of his older cars around. Kind of like how some Robby fans still have their Cingular t-shirts.
Very true, but I turned the "3" into an "8" with a marker, and then put a "minus" sign between the half-ass "8" and the "1" ( 8-1=7)
Now thats some red-neck "engine-uity" I say....ha ha...
Having a little trouble with the tatoo, but I will gett-er dun!!!
Even after a bad race like Martinsville....cool story...it's all about timing.
