Are Robby's engines in the Hummer and the Trophy Truck fuel injected ? If so will any tuning tricks he uses for them translate over to the cup car ?

Yes both the TT and Hummer are fuel injected. As far as any tuning crossing over, I would have to think that their would be zero. The reason I say this is the type of racing, engines and electronics used are all different. The philosophy regarding mapping and tuning via a laptop is the same, but that would be about the only thing the Cup car and off-road stuff would have in common.

Plus I'm sure NASCAR would negate any advantage Robby might have lol . Kinda figured it would be apples to oranges but you never know

The principles are the same. IT's a naturally aspirated engine so there's not much you can do. The relationship between X amount of fuel, Y amount of air, and Z amount of spark are the same no matter what form of racing you are doing. The interface is just different. A competent EFI guy can tune any of them, though, as they all do basically the same thing. I'm guessing that RG is probably using Motec in the TT and Hummer as it's the most popular in high end, non rules limiting racing. EFI is not the reason they are down on power. They would be down on power with a carb, too.
