John succumbed to colon cancer. He was 56 years old, 1/30/2020

In the mold of Uncle Mario, John wheeled many different genre of race cars. From USAC Midgets to NHRA Top Fuel dragsters, Successfully.

John was one of those drivers I used to always seem to run into at the races or race related events. ALWAYS very pleasant to talk to and would always sign autographs for the people going to the races with me. He was very good with kids who wanted to talk to him. LOTS of good memories. Thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, and fans.
