I never expect much from qualy, Robby just isn't a good qualifier.

Robby Gordon avg starting position in NASCAR Cup - 26.7
Robby Gordon avg finishing position in NASCAR Cup - 25.5

HE'S JUST A BAD QUALIFIER!!!

In 11 races this year, it is 28.8 for start and qualifiing....I don't know how people are still making excuses for Robby Gordon motorsports at this point, but I look forward to "BAD LUCK" being stated often this season....

Wasnt his car in race trim, he really doesnt need a good qualifying run, its a long race and his car needs to survive.

there is a full day of practice on Saturday,so the car was in Q trim.

He drove it in Way to hard in 1, then in 3...had to get on brake to keep from going up the hill.
