I was very concerned when the over the top bigger than life attitude was being portrayed when the hall was first announced. As sad as it may be to have our sports' historical focal point suffering as it is I must give my honest thoughts on the hall of fame project as a whole. Tell us yours not from a what it represents standpoint, but rather how it has been handled from a business standpoint.

There's a huge number of racing-specific hall of fames that have been around for far longer, The history of the sport is already being preserved. This existing HOF arrangement fits the "everyone for themselves model" NASCAR operates.
I think you need only look at the first class to see how up its own *** NASCAR is. Both Frances? Really? In the first class? Get over yourself.

Cale and DW being left out this week goes to show what a farce this whole thing is.
Remember NASCAR's mantra: "Not invented here"
