How I spent my weekend, SRT Viper Cup at Road America BIG Accident

I crew chief the red Viper in this video and David had a spectacular accident the first lap of the race Saturday at Road America on Saturday. These are the same Viper ACRX's that Robby raced last spring in Utah at Miller Motorsports Park in the celebrity Dodge get together, thank goodness the cars are well built as other than being very sore he is fine and actually walked away from the crash http://vimeo.com/42111541

It was a big hit but at least it did not hit and come to a stop, there was still a ton of energy heading down the track, so the actual g's of the first hit probably were not huge

If anyone would like to see the SRT Viper race in Road Atlanta from last month, the race is on NBC Sports Network today at 4:30 eastern. It was a much better outcome at Atlanta than at Road America
