i've been working too! no booze out here on the rig....its been 28 days without a drink and no celebrating the new year or chirstmas....i'd say you can add at least a gallon of beam black to the total when i get home!

I had just came home from vacation yesterday, 2 days of driving with family... But last night after I unloaded the truck I had a couple drinks of regular jim beam then was off to bed.. (Was extremly tired).. But I do have a big bottle of Jim Beam Black waiting for me.. neighbors gave to me for christmas gift.

We'd been hounding our local store to get in some of the Distiller's Series. They finally got some in Monday, so we brought in the new year with it. Good stuff!

If that works it tells about it. We live in a dry county. Since we have to drive a ways to get to a liquor store we don't go that often. Everytime we've been since we heard about the limited edition we've asked so they finally ordered some. They called us when it came in and we picked up 3 bottles. We were glad they finally got some since it's supposed to only be available through January.

Is it better than Black? I'm not sure yet. I don't know if I enjoyed it so much last night because I'd been looking forward to trying it or if I really liked it that much! LOL!

I drank my share of the Black to ring in the new year! But, I drink my share every chance I get!

If you like upscale Bourbon straight or with water, try another of the Fortune Family brands Makers Mark. It is much smoother then Beam Black and the Jack brands.

Have you tried Bookers? I think it was the Grandfather's recipe. It is very good as well. Im a whimp, I cant drink the stuff straight. Once in a while, I can do a slow one every now and then.
