I hate to be that guy, but for the sake of this site, I'm going to be.

I really love this site but I'm starting to get a bit annoyed with some of you. Now many of you may not like ExtenZe or just love cracking penis jokes. Believe me some of them are very funny, but have you realized RGM might not be able to run full races the rest of the year after Richmond without them?

What if people from ExtenZe read this site, and see that none of the members here take Kevin Conway seriously? Would they want to continue in NASCAR with a fan base like the one they are seeing here? Well that's to be determined and I'm probably reaching with that point at this time. At this point, Kevin Conway hasn't shown much, but I do believe he is improving. We all need to cast off our judgment until he and Robby get a chance to run full races with each other. Robby has so much talent I'm sure if he just breathes on Kevin he will be able to drive the car a little better.

So I would like to make a suggestion for anyone who cannot stand the sight of another S&P effort by Robby Gordon Motosports at Richmond. TAKE A WEEK OFF, WATCH SOME FOOTBALL, & REGROUP HERE FOR LOUDON. If things don't get better and you have the right to voice your opinions and leave. I'm all about keeping it real, but its unnecessary to keep picking on a driver who has the only goal of starting the car and parking it with no damage. Even though there are decals on the car, there is no sponsor til RG and Kevin can be at the track at the same time , so until then, everyone please relax.

Their money is just as good as anyone elses. It would be nice if they (Extenze) would update their advertising to reflect RGM and not FRM.
All the bashing started before while they were at Front Row, and the way they moved points around between teams for the top 35

Wow. Not only a good post by Garrett, but all (so far) reasonable, well thought out responses. Now, heres the deal: Is KC a cup quality driver? - no. Will he ever be? - maybe, but the odds are probably against him. Could he compete in Nationwide with the proper equipment? No. Trucks? No, not yet. But..... Has he managed to hang on at the top level of the sport, with at least some semblance of sponsorship, when others (some with a lot of talent) cannot? YES. And there is a lot to be said for that.

Now, Extenze, is it snake-oil (no pun intended) rather than a legitimate product - probably, but I want to leave you guys (and gals) with 2 thoughts:

1) Conway deserves our respect for persevering, with good humor, through all the criticism and jokes, not just here, but throughout nascar, about his driving talent and sponsor, AND because he is affiliated with RGM. And who knows, he may make it.

2) Those if you that insist on the sponsor jokes, (and I agree some of them are funny), try to get out of Middle School and at least get your metaphors correct. As best I can tell, Extenze make claims on "member enlargement" It has absolutely nothing to do with medical erectile dysfunction, impotence, erections, Viagra, or Mark Martin. Grow a little (again, no pun intended).

RG already threw a little one in there in his press release-"if we could only Increase his confidence" Just playing-all in good fun, i'm with Keith on it, the Extenzer's have had to of heard it all, top to bottom-just goes with the territory- and they pry dig it, just keep saying the name, just spell the shit right!< ( that's a F up, they don't care about spelling) lol

Well Garrett, I have to say that I side with you generally. This is a forum, so you can expect a range of opinions which reflect a combination of knowledge, emotion, experience and maturity. Most of the comments are great. Like you, I draw a tighter line on comments which I think hinder RGMs business and marketing efforts. All that having been said, I'm not perfect.....some of my posts have been removed from the forum as well. That's the way it goes. TOG's site.....TOG's rules. I respect that; I would do the same if it was my site. Your opinion is just as valuable as the next. Thanks for speaking-up. I really appecite this site and "lurk" 5-10 times a day. Thanks TOG!

Thanks Garrett, for saying what I've been thinking. We don't know what Kevin can do yet. He didn't have much of a chance with FRM and the game plan for now is don't tear up the equipment. I love this site too but enough is enough when it comes to bashing. I chose to follow RG for who he is, not because I thought he could become the winningest driver in Cup. So I stand behind whatever decisions he makes. It isn't always easy. But there's a difference between frustration and outright bashing, and that line gets crossed way too often.

He is a Rookie. He has a sponsor. He is helping out Robby.

What don't you get?

People like you on here act like Robby picked Kevin strictly for his talent. It is a business decision.

Plus, I haven't heard anyone say Kevin was the next Jimmie Johnson yet.
