I've been an RG fan since starting his own team. Being old school NASCAR, I started out as a kid being a Cecil "Flash" Gordon fan. He was the ultimate indpendent, many times goin to the track with no sponsor or a local garage / contractor throwing in some change. His best finish was second, never won a race but never quit. After Cecil retired and went to work for RCR, I became a Lake Speed fan.
Lake won at Darlington in his own car, #83,in one of the bigger upsets in NASCAR history. Ran his own team for several seasons before moving on to Melling #9 and Cale Yarb #66. I've attached some photos of a couple models I built of the 24 and 83 along with some RG diecasts. Thanks for letting me share, Go RGM!!!
