Interested in a Career in Nascar, looking for advice.

I am a junior in high school, and I am interested in a career in Nascar. I am interested in both the engineering side and the business/marketing side, but with a recent health diagnosis, I am leaning towards the business/marketing. I have been trying to find usable information on the internet, but it doesn't seem like there is much out there to find. I was hoping some of you that are already in the industry could help me out with some advice and information. I am interested in anything and everything that anyone has to share, whether it be positive or negative.

I am currently a sophomore in college and i would love a career in motorsports. I decided the best thing to do for me to do would be to get a degree in mechanical engineering. All teams need engineers, but u r going to need some kind of racing experience to get a job on a nasacr team. Weather or not i get a job in racing, engineers r in high demand and the starting salaries are high.
