Is it time for Robby to become the next Richard Childress and think about putting another driver in his Cup Car?

Robby is the most divers and talented driver in the world but in a cup car Robby has always struggled on the cookie cutter tracks. Robby will have a good run next in Phoenix, but Texas will be just another run the top, off the wall and back of the pack, point killing day for Robby. RGM has the best equipment and people in the business and should be in the top of the filed weekly. Robby needs to start driving the bottom or have a second car with a driver that can run well on the bottom at these tracks to help Robby. Do you think Robby should consider getting out and let someone else drive the car for him like Richard Childress did?

I say it's his toy and to say he is not capable of playing with it is blast. The problem in my opinion about the teams' performance is based on and blamed on the fact that the "STOCK CAR TEAM" has not been on any long lasting foundation. Car manufactures changing too often. How many quality crew chiefs and personnel have come and gone through the door? There is the reason or reasons why the team is struggling and I sure hope this team we have stays together. At the same time I'm not jumping ship, throwing in the towel, turning my back, running the other way, trading faces, pissing on the fire, folding my hand, casting disparage, or in any way ever going to suggest, bring to mind, point out, or even have the slightest notion that Robby Gordon should be asked to disseize his driving duties. And besides when he can't drive to his own liking and level he'll know it, and he will have his senior citizen driving license scrutinized and perhaps revoked.
Until then GAS ON !!!!
RGM has the best equipment? I hope this is a joke...

No offense to any RGM employees, but their cars are no where near what Hendrick, RCR and Roush puts out on a daily basis. Do not confuse good construction with the phrase "best equipment." RGM might put their heart and soul into fabricating the nicest equipment on pit road, but that alone doesnt make it fast.

Robby is not the problem, as RGFan pointed out without him the cars would be performing worse. Just look at the recent years when another driver has been in RGM equipment.
Bill- you will get your wish a few times this year , since RG isnt running all the races because of previous commitments.

And in those races, I will miss RG not being behind the wheel.
