Per Jayski:

UPDATE: Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc., maker of Jim Beam Bourbon, the world's number one-selling Bourbon, announced that its marketing plans for 2010 will not include a return to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. As a result, the company will not extend its current partnership with Robby Gordon Motorsports in 2010. The company plans to focus its marketing resources for Jim Beam into other platforms that directly impact the end consumer. "It was a difficult decision to transition away from being a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team sponsor," said Bill Newlands, president Beam Global Spirits & Wine U.S. "We always take a hard look at our marketing resources and how we can best interact with legal purchase age consumers. After an extensive review of our marketing strategy, we have come up with new alternatives to fuel growth for Jim Beam in 2010." Jim Beam will continue its support of #7-Robby Gordon Motorsports for the remainder of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup series schedule."Jim Beam has been a great partner for the past five years," said Robby Gordon. "I would like to thank them for their support through the years. They have been with me since we started the team in 2005, helping build our Cup team and aiding in its success. Great relationships have been formed, and I expect those to continue well into the future

Hopefully Robby can land the greygoose sponsorship. It'd mix much better with Monster.

I'm telling ya, Robby is going to win homestead.
I'll put money on it, and then be rich enough to put my face on the hood as a full-time sponsor.
and Dover
Hope you're right.... I'll be at that race!
Does this mean that Jim Beam will not be sponsoring RG's off-road team in some capacity anymore too? RGM will be able to find sponsorship for 2010, and I am excited to see who will get involved. As someone said in an earlier post, perhaps some potential sponsors disliked the idea of sponsoring the #7 with JB on the side as an associate. I like Alan4s idea of finding a kid friendly sponsor, it would be a great way to generate more new interest in what RG does. With the popularity of extreme sports, I'm surprised that more people aren't aware of Robby, "The official racer of racing", a guy willing to race anything, anytime, anywhere. Maybe a different sponsor will help to usher in a new era for RGM's program, and provide a new spark. That said, I will totally miss JB as a sponsor as they have been nothing but loyal and supportive. Cheers to you Jim Beam!!
There will be more booze to go around I bet.... Hopefully something with a worm in it.
I wouldn't be able to support any tequila sponsor as much as I do JB. Beam and water is a good daily drink - I couldn't handle tequila every day.
Nascar sucks up most of the sponsorship and whats left is prohibitted sponsorship Robby is going to have to pull a rabbit out of a hat.....Paul Menard and McMurray would look good as teammates all flying Menard yellow and all the packages that go with Menards.......Robby could sell 49% of RGM and come out smelling like a rose...............
As long as Robby gets a new sponsor I'm happy

I wouldn't care if it's Playboy Magazine or Huggies Diapers
Maybe the Butt Paste company is still around. :)
Ya think he'd look pretty in pink?
Buttpaste is yellow and red.... i used to use it on my son when he was a newborn.
