There are injuries, possible surgery for Jack per RFR... his friend has non-life threatening injuries.

Nasty drop from the sky (report was he was landing and aborted landing for a go around and plane stalled, the wing dipped and the plane dropped to the ground), when I first read it w/o info, my heart sank all over again.

I've read so much on this, pics, people saying they were eyewitnesses, if they are right, there were 2 smaller planes that could have easily been involved, along with many bystanders just hanging around, photogs, planes basically camped everywhere w/ tents pulled out to stay the week.

Just found this sequence of pics.... there may not be any video up anywhere anymore, but 16 pics sure give you a good understanding of just how hard he hit.
