STAGE 6 TRACKING

STAGE 6: TUCUMAN > SALTA

Connection 270km | Special Stage 424km | Total 694km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Once they have left Tucuman, the cars will head north and drive along part of the renowned Ruta 40, and continue on in the heart of one of Argentina’s most beautiful landscapes. The possibilities to widen the gap will be limited but the most skilled drivers may be able to seize the opportunity of adding a stage to their list of wins. A new trip to the mountains will take motorcyclists to the banks of the rivers. They will have to remain vigilant until the very end of the stage as the region is frequented to a great extent by animals of all sizes. Then they will finally be able to rest.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

We run an Ecotec and the HP on 91 pump gas is allmost identical to e85

. ""On gasoline the L83 makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound feet of torque, but if you run it on E85 and you’ll be rewarded with 380 horsepower and a whopping 416 pound feet of torque. Think about it – that’s more power than a stock LS1""!

That's from a GM enthusiast board but matches GM data. so its 25hp and 33lbs of torque. 11:1 is a lot better than the 9.3 on my 3.3 liter Dodge. some early FFVs were less than that. So a little more oomph and no vapor lock for a little more fuel flow. What would be even better is E98 and 15:1. There is also an adjustment to be made for aluminum heads which brings effective c/r down.

and a 'production LS7' is 11:1,you made my point.

Somehow he should have followed what Carlos Sainz has done with his new Buggy as far as development goes.
Nasser.A was also go to run the same buggy as Sainz , but did not have time too finish developing it and ended up racing a Mini.

SMG and Nasser/Jefferies aren't the same, just similar. Why follow someone program?

Sainz managed to get up to speed pretty well straight away. He had similar issues to Robby to begin with but debugged some of the main issues.

in all fair the SMG is several years old,Sainz didn't start it's development,he's just the most current driver.I would say Chicherit's 2013 DAKAR is where the most advances/development came from.

Huge adjustments today !

Installed 500 CI 900 HP Kroyer TT Power , 38 in travel internal Bi Pass ya da ya da...

Toyota box on the ground ...........?????

Parts could have been boxed in anything for shipment. I wouldn't read to much into it :)

there is 'no' Toyota box's at my house.Just say'n ;-)
