Raceday chat now works on the Ipad & Iphone.
STAGE 10: Iquique > Arica
Connection 317km | Special Stage 377km | Total 694km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The drivers will be overcome with even more intense sensations early in the morning. It is precisely at the beginning of the special stage that they will be deeply moved by a spectacular view, combining sand and waves, which continues for several kilometres. The theme will remain constant, since the most experienced experts will be able to surf on the dunes which stretch out for around a hundred kilometres. On the other hand, the difficult fesh-fesh area that will have to be tackled at the end of the special stage will bring everyone back to the tough reality of the long-distance rally.

LOL, Fox reporting someones twitter joke as hard fact, good credible journalism.
the damndest thing happened, I tried to post that link as a coment on the bottom off foxs' page along with some other usefull infomation, i have now been added to a list of people who cannot contribute, after having my comment reviewed before posting as they do all there comments!!! lmao! I tried haha
FD, I agree with you. But now I'm wondering what these inflation-pumps look like. Are they belt driven? If they are, you could see where they might look like a wipple charge. Now I want to see pictures of the set-up. I want to hear the planet (comment community) roar with laughter. A few pictures would make it very clear to me whether or not Robby is being hosed by a corrupt governing body.
Robby came to compete and WIN! It's still GAS ON!
This stinks...to high heaven. Not to be Debbie Downer or anything, but...there's no way that Robby can win this now. They won't allow it, one way or another. So...don't you think that our hero should make sure that Peter-whats-it doesn't win, either? I'd rather see Roma get the victory if Robby can't.
And the timing of this is very suspicious...I'm not convinced that Nasser didn't have something to do with this. Although, I doubt he has much love for SP, either.
And, hey TOG - thanks for trying to remain calm. Your efforts are duly noted! :)
I for one think Money talks in all forms of motor sports but- VW pulling and mini ( rather X5 ) stacking with how many cars....... Think they are buying there way into all of this.
TOG in my book you have taken in the field reporting to another level, my hats off to you my brother.
Robby just needs to win and smear the mini name as just paying for the title.
Carma...carma...carma...Rg needs to beat these guys at their own game. I say push on RG take the rally and make them all look like the idiots they are. We will se if they have the gutz to take the win away, they will be the laughing stock of Dakar.
@Janet your suspicious you say ....maybe so now that RG has a chance to win, but the Nasser idea no way.
GOD SPEED........RG
TOG.....the man
Is that a gut reaction? Cuz...mine is telling me differently.
Look, I don't want to accuse Nasser unduly, but I don't know him. I have no idea what he's capable of. I do know that several other drivers were not happy with him last week...plus, it seemed that he was blaming RGM for his troubles yesterday.
Like I said, the timing of this makes you go hmmmmm....
Watch it be something silly like a clamp that is loose somewhere that affects performance not one iota but does leave a leak where air could conceivably get in and we got nailed with a 'rules are rules' type mentality from the inspectors.
it's really sad that corruption has killed the spirit of Dakar
I hope Robby never goes back.
