STAGE 10 TRACKING
STAGE 10: BELEN > LA RIOJA
Connection 485km | Special Stage 278km | Total 763km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Fiambala dunes have become one of the decisive stages of the Dakar. This year, they feature at the heart of the most critical rally sequence, when drivers and their vehicles will have to demonstrate their aptitude for extreme endurance. Moreover, the day’s stage presents the longest dune section in the shared history of the Dakar and Fiambala, off-piste for most of the time. In short, an open door for desert specialists.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Agreed Sheldon is/was great support for RG in this Rally. Circumstances bit him. It is a long rally as it has been said before. Ultimately it seems he did the right thing skipping the way points to get service. If he hadn't he may not have made service at all or so late that the repairs couldn't be completed to make the start. As it was, skipping the waypoints, he was late to his start time (and was penalized for that.) That is until a day later they caught up to him and said the WP skipping caused a expulsion.
Yup, Creed got stuck and burnt up the clutch, RG's done the same thing in the past.
many have
13:13 : Cars: Sainz at a standstill
The clouds are gathering over Carlos Sainz (Peugeot). The Spaniard, who was already losing over 20 minutes to Stéphane Peterhansel, is reported to have stopped on the dunes near km 213. Is the Dakar being decided before our eyes?
That last part should read "Is the Dakar being manipulated before our eyes!"
RG started 16th and 17 are at wp1 with no RG
I believe he started 26th and the 24th car (Dabrowski) is at WP5 already per tracking. Beginning to really wonder where Robby is at.
My bad you are correct.
RG started 26th
