STAGE 10 TRACKING
STAGE 10: BELEN > LA RIOJA
Connection 485km | Special Stage 278km | Total 763km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Fiambala dunes have become one of the decisive stages of the Dakar. This year, they feature at the heart of the most critical rally sequence, when drivers and their vehicles will have to demonstrate their aptitude for extreme endurance. Moreover, the day’s stage presents the longest dune section in the shared history of the Dakar and Fiambala, off-piste for most of the time. In short, an open door for desert specialists.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Or like RG said the other day,
"these guys make up the rules as they go..."
I think the first "pack" of 5 each were started in 3 minute intervals.
they where groups of 5's, seperated by they're normal time /place interval. first 10 -3 mins apart,11-20 2 mins apart and so on. they mixed starting groups, mc,lawnmowers, car, trucks, repeat
as WJM posted the other day, gimmicky, ASO has been watching to much NA$CRAP, or Brian France has bought the ASO
The rain/ heat stage adjustments do remind me of debris cautions.
IT does get support vehicles on track earlier too for issues
Thanks! I've rechecked the starting times and they make sense now. I had the impression that the groups were being started together like last year on the salt flats.
RG should be at WP3 around the top of the hour.
Sure wish a Pug would do something so we could get a tracker update..
Next live comment will probably be about Sainz getting a tow
