COURSE OVERVIEW
The motorcyclists and quad bikers will set off for their second marathon stage! After the Chile-Argentina border, this time the day’s special stage will start on the Salinas Grandes, more than 3,600m above sea level. The altitude should curb the competitors’ enthusiasm and cool down their engines. The more technical final phase will separate the toughest of them from the rest. For the liaison section, the route will then follow the Paso de l’Acay, at an altitude of 4,970m.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Correct.
I asked if they could at least change the bearings to prolong the misery but was told not to be concerned and yet here we are.
I hope they can baby it to the finish.
I hope they have some thick additives for the oil.I had half a cigars worth of "talk" at a shop that I can go have a smoke at when the temps are like 4 degrees..........The gent I spoke with was with the attitude that the flex plate does nothing once it does it's job. It seemed as if even though he has built his own engine in his harley and could from what I gather do much more the entire theory of balance was nothing more than lace on a dress. I don't know why I used so many words to say I argued with a man whom I thought knew his shit, but these were far less than the ones I threw in the air that day ..........
Well MM once the engine is started the plate serves no functional purpose but if it is vibrating it is doing damage to other internal parts, bearings/races etc.
