STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: De La Pampa > San Rafael

Connection 487km | Special Stage 290km | Total 777km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The competitors will have an early start and a long way to go to join the start of the special stage. But the pace that the drivers will have to keep up on the first very fast part of the route will immediately ensure that they remain extremely focused. After the big, fast bends negotiated on firm ground, the entrance in a backdrop of dunes will significantly slow down their progress. In Nihuil, the grey-coloured sand bears witness to the intense volcanic activity which occurred in the region several thousand years ago.

It will be easy to find when the information is confirmed and correct. We just need to wait until what is posted is right, and not just conjecture.

I hope it was not so much a big problem rule bending is involved to replace the part at fault. It would stand to reason and I say this with only fringe knowledge by the way that if the facts are as stated oil pressure issue-then engine would not fire, there could be an electronic default/open circuit/ "no break" feature that could be at fault and not letting itself be known out in the field. Again I say this with no real knowledge of how complicated and in depth the science they are using goes. I had a 1966 Chevy Stake Bed with a straight 6, the parts that could be at fault for a no fire could fit in a shoebox..........and the irony being it NEVER broke down. Times are that you need meters and testers more than you need wrenches.
GAS ON As per the same I posted on stage one

From a good RG source-

The problem has been fixed. Apparently a fluke gremlin, they know what caused it but won't elaborate. The most important thing is its fixed and the 300 is ready to go for tomorrow.

Doesnt matter who, what, where & why. Issues resolved & Both Hummers are racing tomorrow. Oh and Robby Gordon is only 49 seconds back & starts 5th.

and Nasser doesn't have a hole in the block.

Just one crazy fast Qatary out to make up time, if you are in Argentina driving a mini countryman and you see either a big orange or big grey blob an your ass I'd suggest you get the hell outta the way!!! Gas On Team FUEL/Qatar!!!

Gonna be a thing of beauty.... RG starts in the 5 spot tomorrow. Should be exciting. Plus did you notice the split? Nassar was faster than RG... But he was also first on the road. With no tracks....

looking forward to RG running away from the field in stage 2

Mini's get crushed tomorrow

I was wondering. The Mini's are 4WD. Isn't it an advantage in the sand dunes?

RG will be in the lead after tomorrow.
