STAGE 1 TRACKING
STAGE 1: BUENOS AIRES > VILLA CARLOS PAZ
Connection 663km | Special Stage 170km | Total 833km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The competitors will be rapidly plunged into the heart of the Argentinean countryside. The combination of the route’s different features means that there will be something for everyone, while sticking to relatively simple criteria, for the time being. Fast tracks coupled with sharp bends will divide up the vehicles, according to the levels of the drivers, who will be tested in an exciting environment which marks this first special stage, but without singling out any particular category. At the end of this warm-up, the day will fi nish with a long liaison section to the first bivouac.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

This is the 2nd time I have read or heard Carlos refer to the Pug as a "New type" or "concept" ??? Really Carlos didn't you drive one of the "Bugly's" in 2013 and again last year?? does moving the motor to the front from the back make it a new concept? slightly but not overall. Peugeot did not reinvent the wheel here and if they believe they did it's far from being round! it seems to have a pretty good wobble, back to zee drawing board.
Sainz quote
We were expecting a special like this one"
"The stage went as we expected: fast, with 90° turns. The course was good, on rolling terrain. I'm happy to have finished this special with a decent time. Other drivers were able to go faster because today's stage wasn't really cut out for two-wheel drives like ours..."
Well he did say 2wd's like theirs.
May have been insinuating that their 2wd is not on the same level as Robby's.
We shall see I suppose.
it's true ,it was not a 2wd course.
