@David , I'll PM you in chat Sunday ;-)
Don't answer it.
Hooray!
About friggin' time!
What a colossal cluster. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised, seeings as how where it is. :-)
It's only about a 1,100 mile drive from Buenos Aires to Copiapó, Chile. They could be there early Saturday morning.
Depending on rain, snow, customs paperwork, border bribes, etc. And DOT only allows drivers to have 10 hour shifts...... oh wait, never mind.
Good one :-)
I'll have to say that this year's Dakar so far has been fun to follow. The Hummer / Mini battle is really fun day over day. The mini's are well funded, well prepared, and they have some awesome drivers in the LH seat (let's face it Peterhansel is a friggin legend, 9 wins between 2 and 4 wheels?!?!?). Robby's team is well prepared, well developed (along a completely different strategy RWD, Rear engine, long travel susp vs short wheelbase, 4WD, front engine) and also has two awesome drivers behind the wheel.
I'd love to see Rob and Nassir run away with it but the daily back and forth and CP to CP back and forth is just a ton of fun to watch. Keep it up, keep steady, minimal mistakes, and bring it home.
+1
