STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: SAN LUIS > SAN RAFAEL

Connection 365km | Special Stage 433km | Total 798km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Anyone know for sure why they're running it without the rear hatch? And yes, I'm bummed as well, for now.

Its easier to work on when you break every 5 miles.....

my sarcasm meter is working for FD.
Kevin Wilson posted they where trying for maximum cooling this morning

I feel it Mike... How are ya man.. How were your holidays?

excellent,my little wi one had fun with all the attention.

someone win the lottery so we can all go and cheer RG on

I tried

ME too

The HST doesnt look all that bad this way w/o the hatch. So what happened they towed it in again and got 28th hour and a half down? Not bad. It must have broken down near the finish. Maybe it had been in contention for the stage win up till then?

Sheet if we know ! I wonder how the Dakar offies even know where people were running today . since the feed provided to the public should mirror what they are using to track the event .

won't know until the post race report

damn i missed a lot. first day back at work in 2 weeks and the shit is hitting the fan. doesn't look like robby is having a good day either. any word of what is going on? hopefully Tuesday will be better for both Robby and I. Gas on Robby.
