COURSE OVERVIEW
The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Obviously given the number of cars still out on course, today's stage was a motherfucker. Yet, Team SPEED, despite having to get a tow, is still in the rally. There's probably 40+ teams somewhere out in the dark right now wishing they had Robby's problems.

Jeff, watch the video and watch Nasser over-driving the Hummer and causing his own problems then blaming the team for his problems and then quits the race early. Was he exciting to watch...yes, was he a good teammate...hell no. That would be why the people on the ROBBY GORDON fansite have issues with him!

I don't know why people think money had anything to do with RG using an LS instead of a diesel. I don't see anyone complaining the last however many years when RG used a modified version of an LS. New car, new configuration and in the Dakar 1 year early, get over it!

I just .........Line diameter........I'm not going into detail but I recall an article on line diameter fluctuation and compession compensation that in turn did not effect end of line pressure when supplied with midstream regulators that functioned not only as pressurization units...........but pressurization retractors in theory that compressed liquid boiled faster than open circuts. Here is a short video describing the resulting theory when the problem of the fuel inline vaporization was overcome and the...well it's short just watch it shows the end result of vaporlock conqured.
