STAGE 5 TRACKING

STAGE 5: CHILECITO > TUCUMAN

Connection 384km | Special Stage 527km | Total 911km

COURSE OVERVIEW

After two race days with completely separate routes, everyone will gather together to tackle the longest stage of the rally. They will need to be extremely resistant to overcome these two sections of the special stage which will primarily feature sand. All day long the competitors will make headway on off-piste sections: those who have poorly assessed the limits of their engine will constantly be on the verge of overheating and all the more so, as the region’s temperatures are generally very high. At the bivouac in Tucuman, the candidates for the podium will have been whittled down to a select few, as many of them will no longer be a part of this elite group. For many others, their timing and mechanical mishaps will only become apparent in the middle of the night.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

that don't bode well if robby was 14 back and now guys ahead of him are 30 minutes back...doing the math something is up...

don't forget, RG started well after those guys

Allitiyah 00:32:39 back at 5

Nani Roma has a shot Thursday at the final point of the first half it special account 10'33 "ahead of the second Giniel de Villiers. But it is already 32'39" separating him from his first mate Nasser al-Attiyah, and 34'22 "Stéphane Petehansel. It will be worse for Carlos Sainz is happening to.

So De Villiers is alive!

He wasn't trackign yesterday and probably more of the same today. If he didn't have a pulse I am sure it would have been reported by now.

Perhaps Robby gets into the top ten for the overall today

top 5

The thought of Peter Pencilneck riding around in circles ..... hehehe

Roma goes from WP4 to WP5 in 23= minutes and folks behind him are losing almost a half hour.......there is no way they are in or near his tracks....................What is the pass word for chat ..$$$$ perhaps?
