Robby,

Please comment on the California 200 accident.  We, offroaders need some people with offroad experience to make some reasonable comments.  We are running the risk of losing one of our local promoters, and possibly all CA offroad.

Thanks,

Clare Ross

California BLM will need to close the course to spectators and require viewing areas for them. This has worked in Vegas for over ten years year’s now. This was a very tragic accident that was bound to happen at Glamis Dunes, Dumont Dunes or unfortunately an offroad racing event. Promoters and racers will do everything possible to help BLM have a safe race and provide spectators will the best racing in the world.
BITD, (at Parker) I know has certain marked areas that allow spectators and are a certain distance from the track. As horrible as this accident I hope some professional decisions can be made to make the sport better and safer and not just shut it down because thats what They think easy thing to do, which is the wrong thing to do. In certain areas maybe putting up limit restrictions and having race officials keeping people back. RIP to the ones who lost their lives and prayers to all the families involved. Also need to consider the Driver and how he is doing.
Cory you got it all wrong except the part of R.I.P. the ones who lost their lives and families.
well BITD has more rules and official watching you are not allowed on the track like you are here most of the track isn't even accessible ( there are parts that are) but really you can watch from anywhere
And tell me how I am wrong? I see you are capable criticising my opinion but yet to inform me of how.
well u said that at parker they have marked areas for spectators witch they don 't
I wasnt responding to your comment it was to the Capt. response. If im wrong im wrong no biggie but at least tell me how dont just say your wrong. I know in years past my group has been asked to move to certain areas of the track at Parker, maybe just our luck IDK but like I said the distance from the course is also monitored.
Hi everybody - It's been a while since I've been active on this board. The reason is I have been busy over the last year starting Fast-Aid which is the banner you'll see on the front page.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to planetrobby for running the ad to spread the word about raising funds to help the families of the casualites and to help the injured.

You can click the link on the front page to get to www.fast-aid.org

As of right now, we have raised over $90,000 just since yesterday morning. It really is amazing.

And the one of the coolest things is Robby will be playing his own unique role in helping this cause and for that I say thanks as well.
Good to see you back & its our pleasure having a link available to your charity. It is the only one that we will support to help aid this awful tragedy. Keep on fighting and we will do our part to help spread the word.
Thanks TOG - I'll do my best to check in periodically. The last year has been a whirlwind. we've been teaching race teams CPR/First-Aid and helping another crew member by paying his health insurance since he owns his own business and can't work because he was injured while pitting at an off-road race near Reno. It's an honor and it's humbling to be part of such an awesome team of people. looking forward to seeing if Rob will run some Fast-Aid steeekers on the TT when we are out at Primm for the SCORE race.
are you going to be a the vegas to reno race next week ( if it's not canceled
I won't personally be there - My next race is the SCORE Primm Race. We will have representatives at Contingency selling the memorial stickers and other Fast-Aid apparel to raise funds for our organization.
