alls i have to say is play it safe and race hard and just GIT-R-DONE ROBBY!
It's FUN to watch Robby slice through the pack at the end of the race. Do what you wanna do.......
the last couple of races, riding around in the back has resulted in losing the draft...then we're back to a lucky dog strategy which is a loser, IMHO.

Go to the front and stay and see what happens (ie green flag pits with leaders, better position to make a push to the front at the end, stay away from the mid-pack knuckleheads etc.).
If the starting field continues to dwindle, it won't make a difference either. Only 2 cars go home today.
He clearly has plate-tracks down, given his results from past years as well as his practice speed today. In Robby We Trust
I say stay in the back till the end of the race and charge to the front for a top 10. It worked 4 times last year. This is how i look at it. Theres a better chance youll get caught up in the big one in the front and your more likely to blow a motor up there.
True, true, and true.
Yea, just got back home from Dega until I go back Sunday. Hell yea, Robby Gordon is the man. If I got paid I'd go every damn week so we can be fastest. haha. Go Robby damnit.
+1 for lay back till the last 30 laps, then Gas On.....
2 things- First, if we are safely within the top 35 then I couldn't agree more, man up and run hard, see how things shake out. However, being where we are in points and the run of bad finishes lately, we've gotta play it safe this weekend. Conservative engine package, conservative racing.
I never understood this hang back thing. I know it can work a percentage of the time, but most wrecks happen mid-late pack. In fact I use it as a successful betting strategy for NASCAR to use starting position as a factor on certain tracks.

Why hang near the guys that are wrecking. Just like last week minding our own business fine and Waltrip loses it.

For pit strategy it's always do what the leaders are doing. If you have the car to do it, don't just do it for pit strategy. Do what the leaders are doing for the race, "lead".
tup, dont re-invent the wheel, watch what leaders do, they are winning all the damn time
