Michael Watrip is retiring from full time cup racing. He will drive a select # of races in 2010, including the Daytona 500.
New MWR NAPA driver to be announced in a few minutes.

Not that it was much of a secret. It just gets the ball rolling for "silly season". This clears the path for Tony to announce Bass Pro Shops as a S-H sponsor for 2010 @ Chicagoland this weekend.

I heard Bass Pro Shop will stay with DEI.

Earnhardt Ganassi Racing President Steve Lauletta said no matter what happens with Martin Truex Jr., he expects Bass Pro Shops will remain with the organization for 2010. Truex, who drives for EGR, is expected to be announced as the 2010 full-time replacement for Michael Waltrip at Michael Waltrip Racing on July 7.
