mike, its jim, and we dont race but have real good friends that race USAC . My kid figerskates. There is no were we dont go. 17 years. Now she has her own rink.If you cant make it then you cant make it. I dont reale care.Im sure Robby wants u and everone to come but thats up to each racer. And if u dont think figerskating is the same in $$ u dont know how much u can speend at anything your kids do.
We're going. Great chance for Colorado fans to see Trophy trucks and RG. This will be our first off-road event and I love the idea of taking off-road on the road. Only 8hrs from Salt Lake to Denver! C'mon diehards! Gas on.
ok--Now this is the real Cyndi. I do not make the spelling errors that my husband makes!!!! As to my thoughts, your either in it or not. And---I am soooooooooooo looking forward to going to a race to see Robby--don't really care what the circumstances. GAS ON---put the foot down tomorrow. AND--I know that you want to save your car but I would actually like to see some of the old Robby antics---just for old time's sake. I would like to see you throw your helmet, but don't do that until you can throw it my way!!!!! I am getting bored with the pretty boys--you need airtime--DO SOMETHING EXCITING. They still air the helmet toss--Jim Beam owes you big time. Now throw that helmet with some Speed!!!
I also am a business person and understand the bottom line. I actually know a lot about the financial aspects of what makes a good company on paper--and makes them bankable. So---I get it--an owner definitely treats their equipment differently from the paid help or a renter. So I am 100% behind Robby--he is a throwback to the real racing days.
Racing was never a "team" sport. You had a very valuable crew that helped tremendously--but the way Daytona now is raced with a partner is absolutely ridiculous. It actually reminds me of the "hillbilly races" with the little camper attached to the back of the car. That is NOT racing when you have to depend on somebody to assist you to win.
@Cyndi,Jim. Go,enjoy watching Robby. You now have an idea why there's a sparse field.I will say ,WOW, never thought as a racer that I'd get called out by figureskating parents.Never saw that coming.Toe pick.

Seems like it would be better to cancel and reschedule the event with a different promoter. They are doing a terrible job! I hate to see Robby be let down and have the event be unsuccessful. Would not be good for Speed Energy to not have a top notch event.
