Some didn't start with trackers ... fact ... IRCTRACK samples at 5 second intervals ... fact ... close enough ? ... jeje
I think most everyone already knew ... that some competitors ... didn't have a working tracker ... even without our confirmation
Lofton's tracker was dysfunctional from the get-go ... his little 41 car ... was stuck in the upper left corner of the display ... jeje

Any race that I visit racers at the hospital the following day is not the way we wanted the race to go.
I just left UMC Trauma here in Las Vegas after visiting ...two patients and their families that were injured in the Mint 400
I have received permission to release names and some basic information about the incident from their families:
Jordan Poole and Ryan Hancock were involved in a roll over accident at the Mint 400 at mile 32. Both had been knocked unconscious initially. As Jordan unbuckled and attempted to help Ryan, their car was struck by a Trick Truck from behind at a very significant speed.
Both were transported by helicopter to the hospital by helicopter. Both are conscious and alert. Jordan is going to have a long road to recovery but has great people surrounding him. His back has broken and has already undergone one surgery. Ryan had surgery this morning for a couple things including a punctured lung and neck injury and should make a full recovery.
They can both have limited visitors of a maximum of two at a time however I am sure the families that are living in the trauma center waiting room would appreciate company and support from our off road community.
Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers as they recover.
Alive, and able to talk about it. Heal quickly Jordan and Ryan.
Thanks for posting this Mike, positive thoughts going out to Ryan and Jordan and their families
The secondary impact stuff is the worst. Just wondering out loud was the dust "real" bad....? I kbnow there always is and such.
Here's to a full recovery.
