Not heard anything about the Monster Truck in quite a while. There were the videos of test runs, and looked like just needed to hang a body on the thing.
If it was that close to being done, I can't imagine it taking much more to get the big truck track ready and do a competition or show with it.
Any updates on that project???

Using the Monster Truck for advertising purposes is a good one. But my guess is the reality of using the Monster Truck for advertising is it would not be cheap to do so. The biggest reason I would assume is transportation. I dont know if anyone has seen how these trucks are moved, but unless you are going to move it using a Simi truck and trailer you will need two trailers, as one is to just haul the tires and one for the truck itself. Even using a simi trailer you need to remove those 1000 lbs tires to fit in the trailer. My guess is the new Speed Energy vans and Dodge Ram trucks cant pull that kind of weight. So now Speed would have to invest in a few more heavier duty trucks just to transport the Monster Truck and tires, then it would take a crew to assemble it for a few hour display.

Now if setting up a display at one of the food a beverage conventions, then it might be worth it because you will have a booth for a few days. Maybe as Speed grows and the advertising budget is increased we will see a crew that does nothing but show the Monster truck around the country. But until then my guess is the Monster truck will sit and be a big toy to pull out once in a while for fun.
I bet the truck has an AZ license plate by now so just drive it to the events! SPDCRSH
I've seen it done with a HD pickup and gooseneck, but it's not the most professional look. RGM would want a semi to haul it, then use the semi as the backdrop. One guy can drive the hauler and get the tires on & off if needed.

These things get in the feet per gallon range, so it better be a short drive!
