Not to be a buzz kill....but keep in mind this car hasn't been on track since Watkins Glen last year. Not saying Robby won't do well; he can hustle a NW car with the best of them, but if he's not on top of the charts don't jump out the window. This being his only NW car, you can count on Robby to wring its neck. If it comes back in four pieces, so what.

"but if he's not on top of the charts don't jump out the window."
yeah, we are still trying to clean up the mess on the sidewalks from the first practice session at Infineon. We lost about 25 that day prematurely.
Although I am from canada and I am a JV fan i still am a die hard Robby Gordon fan. I hope robby wins but would love to see JV do well also. I just hope they don't take each other out.
Hopefuly Carl Edwards and marcus take each other out at the start of the race so they do not get in the way.

1. Define "major road course races"
2. Roger passed on him and signed Will Power
Ranger has road racing skills, no question. However, I do question touting success against what level of competition? And you have to admit, the guy ain't for doodly-squat on ovals. Given that the 36 race Cup schedule is comprised of 34 oval track events, why would a Cup owner risk having Andrew stuff his shit in the fence week after week with hopes of some success on the two road races on the schedule?
I appreciate your enthusiasm for your driver but there's a reason why he went from the Majors to AA ball.
Maybe the same reason Richard Childress took a chance on Robby Gordon even when Childress openly questioned RGs ability on road courses.

Robby's first road course race for Richard Childress at Watkins Glen 2001. Robby qualified 4th, led 13 laps, then the in-car camera caught fire. Maybe Childress had him confused with Gordon Johncock who DNF'd in 15 of his 21 Cup starts. ;-)
