What's the deal with Nascar and Carl Edwards? They are certainly taking there time with Edwards and his punishment. (Which he should get). If that had have been Robby spinning BK, they would have had him behind bars before the grandstands were cleaned up. It's such bullsh*t. Carl went too far this time. He should be parked on Sunday. Just like they did to Robby and Kevin Harvick.

its the "Golden Boy" they cant park him as na$car will lose to much $$$. Isnt that what its all about. Na$car will say its "just racing" and chalk it up to that. You are correct though if it was anybody else they would be parked.
I agree. I don't think Carl Edwards is as popular as he might seem though. There is a driver poll on Nascar.com right now between C.E. and B.K. and B.K. has more votes. I obviously don't know Carl personally, but my impression of him over the years, is that he is a bit of a goof. Just my opinion though.......
"Have at it boys."
I think Robby gets more respect and PR when he is parked, also he doesn't have to finish 4 laps down in 36th (just joking). The cool thing is Robby will go on the radio and say he is going to wreck someone, Biffle at Loudon, and actually executes. I bet if you count between the Truck, Busch and Cup Series active drivers, Robby has been parked the most which I think keeps people interested in him.
If they didn't park Carl for taking a 150 lap down car and putting Brad 10 feet into the air and almost into the stands at 180 mph at Atlanta...why would you park him for this? lol
You have a very valid point.........I'm thinking Carl has naughty pictures of somebody high up at NASCAR....
hes probably in the pics with the person. lol
Robby was parked for ignoring NASCAR, not anything that transpired on track.
Ambrose spun him out and NASCAR wanted him to restart in 12th. By the rules, he was supposed to restart 2nd and Robby refused to move back. NASCAR even admitted they made a mistake the following week.
Doesn't change the fact. Robby was not parked for on track incidents. This is totally a different issue from CE/BK.
Exactly. He directly ignored NASCAR.
Harvick was though.
