I wonder if RG gave him any pointers? I doubt he has done many laps on a road course in a stock car, and probably very few at sears point. He was 11th in practice. I think he'll move up as he continues to learn different lines. A lot of strategy and luck needed as well.

Sheldon was RR experience (not like Harvick) mostly in Limited Late models
