TOG, I know you said a couple of months ago that Robby is racing this race, is that still a go? Do you know anything about what number he will be yet and sponsors besides Speed? Sorry to be a pain.
Glad somebody ask about this , I knew if I did it would have been ignored . Hopefully they will have a caR ready . Road America is a no ( Same Weekend as Sonoma ) Watkins Glen is a Week Before Montreal , so might have to have two caRs to do WG . I would hate to see RG miss WG two years in a row .
Cracker Carl did the double at Road America last year who else..............who cares. Road America is a freakin cool race course. Don't get your undies in a bunch about it but at this point in the game with the birth of the new car new car new car new car new car new NAZICAR bullshit let's just ask one simple question......drum roll please.........please......okay there you go, did RGM build a new Busch chassis? He can always lease and drive but someone here knows if one or two were built or not. Perhaps it will be at the test. I've said enough ......someone get me a can of dinn........there you go!
Since the Nationwide COT and Cup COT chassis are essentially identical, many of the Nationwide teams simply buy up old Cup Chassis and convert them to the Nationwide specs. There is a definite cost & time factor involved in the conversion from what I've read on some of the Nationwide team's websites, but it is easily do-able in house for a team like RGM. I guess it all depends on where it falls on the priority list and the fun list.
Thanks Tog I appreciate your answer. It just makes a lot of sense, because of the weekend off in cup, and Robby has to be very hungry to get a win in Montreal. He had it last year until unfortunate shit happened. That's racing and that's life. When you said that he was racing this race it got everyone very excited north of the border way up here lol. Can you clarify the fact that Robby is extremely hungry to come up here and win, and will try his best to race there?
