I got the opportunity to watch Robby and crew rebuilding the front suspension after the SNAFU in pre-tech today.  Absolutely amazing.  Robby was unusually calm, but very decicive in the way that he directed exactly what he wanted done.  At one point he noticed that he has a bunch of fans all watching from th upper level, so he waved and even had a bit of a smile.

The Neon Garage is beyond fantastic!  Every NA$CAR track should be given a copy of the blueprint and be given two years to replicate it.  If they don't, then they start loosing their races.   Complete access to see the crew and the drivers work in the garage, you can watch tech, get autographs signed, etc.   And not just for the NA$CAR "chosen", for EVERYONE!

Not only did I get to watch the RGM Crew tackle the front end today, I also added Ned Jarrett's and Junior Johnson's autographs to my collection!!!!!

Garage Days...cue the Metallica crash course in suspension surgery.
I like the FanZone at Daytona, but that looks even better. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
holly crap, realy???

way to believe in your driver
was in the neon garage last year. it is the best fan experience at any track. they really need to drop the second cali rade and move it to vegas. where else can you see elvis, a rap band, and a country band. plus 43 cars at one time. just awesome.
I bet RG is one of the few (probably less then 5) guys who can/do actually fab/ weld/wrench on his own car be it Off-Road or NASCAR
Based on a report from the Sports Network - http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=114243&provid...

RGM had engine trouble that caused him to miss Qualifying.
