Anyone watching the NNS qualifying? What's everyone's thoughts on the look of the new nationwide cars? Personally, I think they look bada$$.  Even the Impala looks mean.

I think those are the same nylon screws they use on the splitter to measure how close it comes to the track. They wear down as they rub the track.
I definitaly like the look of the nationwide cars more than the cup cars..
I think the whole concept is awesome, plus I don't really have a Nationwide driver that I would call myself a fan of, so I'm pulling for the MUSTANGS!! First On Race Day baby!! Cup cars need to make the same switch....
Many of us old school types have been beating and banging our heads over the fact that the cars are so "alike". This was brought about in the big popularity boom of the not so past, which has now past, that saw big money separate the field a bit. Now NASCAR in a marketing ploy (code word for we need some help) has brought the identity aspect back into play to get back the fans they lost who were replaced by the fans who jumped on board but have now departed. Not to mention the fact the the auto manufacturers have complained and carried on how they are the backbone of the sport and have been cast aside. NASCAR, your common car is a failure, time to get back to the days of giving a few inches to the nose of those who need it and...does anyone remember the restrictions and gifts of the different engines. But yes.yes I love the "LOOK".
AGREED
That's why I love this site.......LOL
I can make a couple of suggestions. Justin Allgaier and Trevor Bayne. Trevor is from my backyard in Knoxville, TN and is a great kid. Holding his own against the all the Cup drivers. Justin won at Bristol this year and could take Hornish's place in Cup if the Captain thinks he's ready.
Now why in the hell can't they have someone sing the national anthem decently like that before the Sprint Cup races?
I think they look great. I'm glad the #3 won again at Daytona. Might be the last time we see an Earnhardt pull the #3 into victory lane at Daytona. Not a huge Jr fan but I am a huge Dale Sr fan.......
Car is bitchen looking, cool to see the 3# out there tonight......
The Challenger looks mean, and the Mustang looks good too. The Impala and Camry look like the Cup COT. Glad to see the #3 in Victory lane tonight. Not a Jr. fan so much, but will always be a Sr. fan!
i loved to the new look cars, you ould actually tell the different makes....we havent had that in years! I thought it was a greart idea, im sure they have some kinks to work out but as a Dale Sr fan, It sure as hell looked good to me tonight!!!
