YES! Im thinkin get the ol Xr 600 out, prep for next year!

Rather confusing stream, but there is some finish line live stuff here right now-http://www.ustream.tv/channel/norra-2012

I am curious. Would RG driving in the Mexican 1000 be the equivalent of him driving against the regulars in the Nascar Corona series ? He would dominate, no ?

it is rally format vs 'racing'

Robyn Gordon said on twitter i heard despain puked in the hummer rumor has it ;)

1 of us has definatly gotta try to call Wind Tunnel on sunday

Malcolm Smith and his son, Alex, quickest of the bikes on Day 2. On a 25-year old Husqvarna 2-stroke. Now 2nd overall. Granted, Malcolm is only riding the liaisons with 22-year-old Alex doing the racing.

The leader, 50-year-old Michael Gilkey (first time in Baja!) is doing a hell of a job on a 990 KTM.

This is making me rethink my bucket list. Not that I would do nearly as well, but hey....

You me nikal tog and tool NEXT YEAR ! Whadda think bud and we'll do it in class 11 lol

Just to clarify, Malcolm and Alex are riding a '83 Husky 500XC. This is the bike that Dan Smith and Dan Aschcraft rode to wins at the Baja 500 and Frontier 500 29 years ago.

Old Guys (and bikes) Rule.

The only thing older than those guys is Baja itself

@Richard, Mark 'the bomber'Barnett was really a 125 guy.Same for Ronny'coke machine' Lechien.
Big motor MX guy's.Glover,Schultz,Bailey,R Johnson,and Wardy (he won Championships in all 3 class's)
But , that has little or nothing to do with desert racing.
