I was at Bristol on Saturday and was told that they are trying to get the Montreal deal done,it was going to be close.
I read during the Jeremy Mayfield scandal that the entry lists were submitted 2 weeks away from the race, and they had until a few days before the race to Post enter ( i think thats what I read ) . I never saw Pj Jones on the Infineon entry list on the Monday it came out, and was shocked when i turned on the TV and saw him qualify in June.
I am hoping they still go, at least there is still a chance.

I dont know about the Nationwide race, but The CUP series usually allows post entries until the Thursday before the race weekend.
TOG---Please let us know as soon as you know. I was so hoping to see Robby run in Montreal especially with the # of old Champ car drivers in the field---hell, the only thing missing is Paul Tracy.
No sponsor eh?
Reverse problem of what the Canadian drivers have... no US company with the need to promote north of the border?
or... Possibly reaping what he sowed at WG? A lot of people outside of PR and RGM thought Robby crossed the line there.
Post Entries receive no owner points and are out in the cold if qualifying gets canceled.
Since they have rain tires for this race, will they still Q if it's raining?
Time to give a call to Labatts beer most of the states do not carry this beer but it is big in Canada and the Northern states like hear in New York. Labatts is the official beer of the Bills so they spend cash promoting in the U.S. I would be cool as hell to see them on Robbys car.
