Robby can run good at Martinsville. In one Martinsville race with RCR, he ran in the Top 5 for quite awhile.
Get RCR cars, sounds good to me..
I really like the planet and the chat but many of the folks on here don't have a clue. Sorry but there is no advice in the chat room or in these forums. Buying a competitors car at this point is not realistic advice. A aero or mechanical engineer with a lot of successful car setup experience would provide useful advice. People talk about being tired like it really matters. No one pays to be be here; no one is entitled to RG or a RGM car doing well.

I watch because I like racing and I like the underdog. If I wanted to feel good and support a winner then I would pick JJ or Kyle Busch. I want to see RG and RGM stick it out and find and overcome the issues. Stick it to the big guys that spend 10's of millions. I doubt that RGM will be a RCR next season but I'm sure he will get there if he has the time, money, and the next Dale Sr. Where would RCR be without Dale Sr?

Lets all enjoy this for what it is; a sport. We all want RG and RGM to do well. Lets cheer RG on. He is doing it his way.

agreed,I think testing this week is a good start
I never said said anyone "must" or said anyone should be banned. What is it they say, just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. I only suggested folks cool their jets and remember we are all uncommitted observers on a web site that TOG and RGM allow us to take part in. Show them some respect. I'm sure anyone can start a 'rgmsucks' site. TOG may even add a link to it on the front page.
Exactly
Not cool not cool at all
We finally agree on something, all this whining ,bitching and belly aching is "Not cool not cool at all"
Bravo. Z-actly right!
LOL
I have avoided this site for the most part since my trip to Indy. What I saw at Indy was disappointing, and gave clues that Gene was on his way out and that Conway might be cultivating a relationship with RGM. I wont comment on my feelings about the Conway/Extenze thing, lets just say Im not tuning in to watch...

Any rate, what people should be spending more time complaining about is the quality of racing in Nascar. That would also provide a clear window into RGMs main issue. Nascar has created a car that takes a lot of the grey area out of design, thus making small and expensive gains key. Most of that now lies in the aero department. Want to take a guess why Nascar threw the book at the 33 RCR team for 1/16th of an inch? These cars are that pathetically aero sensitive.

I happened to tune in last night, mainly because I didnt have anything else going on. Any car that was out front had an obvious advantage. Kyle Busch could literally keep Jimmy Johnson behind him by changing his line, causing enough turbulance to prevent Johnsons car from generating the grip he needed to pass. Johnsons car was clearly faster, but it didnt matter once he got close to Kyle. On a 1.5 mile oval, thats pretty sad.

Which brings me to RGM. It is no secret money is an issue. Most (if not all) of their cars have been put on the track this year without any significant windtunnel time. Now if aero is that important, how can anyone expect them to compete? Nascar knows there is an issue, and is trying new noses next year trying to decrease aero dependancy.

I feel bad for Robby to a point. I also found myself remembering back to the first few years at RGM where they actually ran well at Lowes. I dont think RGM will ever get back to that point, but I could be wrong. In its current state, running a driver that would be better fit to run the truck series just for the funding he brings is not helping anything move forward; its just keeping the lights on. That might be fine for some on this site to follow and be content, not for me though...
